I don't believe anything the NY Times reports anymore and I actually didn't get what they were trying to insinuate with that article anyway! Sesame Street bad? Only for people who take things to mean more than they really are. All of this political correctness is annoying!
It's funny you said that, Missy, because I was thinking about some stuff the other day (which I am going to blog about later, so I'll leave it at that) and was thinking about how everyone emphasizing such rabid "political correctness" is actually taking away a lot of our freedoms. It doesn't feel much like a free country sometimes. (Even though I know it is and I'm grateful for it, but you know what I mean.)
do not get me started on this... wait until your kids start school, then the fun begins.
