After a long day of menial and tough housework, Kelli lays back in her vanilla lavender bubbles and sighs contentedly. An inspiring book is open in her hands, one that fills her with visions of "I can do anything!" She soars with the book, reveling in her hot bath and solitude. The kids are in bed, her husband is otherwise occupied. She is one with herself, and begins to feel happily drowsy.
She sees a dark shape sailing across her limited horizon.
A rabbit lands on her stomach.
She repeats her mantra.

Kelli-
I cannot believe that you were relaxing and escaping from the day, only to have a rabbit jump on you.
I'm glad I found your blog via Kristen's blog. I know- I can't believe a pumpkin went through BOTH windows of their car. CRAZY!
Anyways- hopefully ya'll are well. Beautiful boys!! Check out our blog- www.frohmfamily.blogspot.com
We're in San Antonio, but the boys & I will be moving to Dallas in January because Rob will be deployed to Iraq.
Anyways- talk to you later!!
Lindsay
Ha ha!
Maybe it's time to eat the rabbit and digest its goodness. That way everyone benefits...except for the rabbit, I guess.
I can't stand rabbit pee smell and stuff but I do love how soft they are!
Sooooo funny (not at the time it happened though). So how loud did you scream?
As I was reading I though how lucky you are to have a quiet moment without kids and husband.
I hope that you get that quiet (uninterrupted) bath another day soon.
Not so much screaming as a few seconds of stunned silence, then laughter as I tried to get him out and keep all my limbs at the same time. He caught me at a decent moment, or we might be trying some of James' rabbit "capiche."
Sorry about your husband, Lindsay. Good to see you.
